Rodeo Terrorists have entered football anthem season with “Saltire (Tartan Army),” a lively new single released on 27th March 2026. Built around Scotland’s famous travelling support, the track aims to capture the colour, humour and passion that have made the Tartan Army known around the world.

The song comes from Richard, a 55-year-old English IT manager whose affection for Scotland is rooted in personal experience. Although English by birth, he studied in Scotland and has long considered the country a second home, giving the single a sincere emotional connection beneath its playful football spirit.

Musically, “Saltire (Tartan Army)” blends Celtic-inspired melodies with electronic pop-rock energy. The result sits somewhere between the folk sweep of The Waterboys and the upbeat football-pop feel of New Order’s “World In Motion,” making it a track designed for both radio play and terrace singalongs.

The release also carries a charitable purpose. Richard hopes the single can help raise funds and awareness for MND Scotland in memory of a close friend who died from Motor Neurone Disease, adding a meaningful cause to a song built around national pride, friendship and celebration.
