A Force in the UK Scene
Doller has become one of the most exciting voices in the UK underground. His earlier tracks gained praise from NOTION, Wordplay Magazine, and GRM Daily. These outlets highlighted his ability to cross genres and create party-ready hits.
In addition, he has taken his music abroad, performing in Dortmund, Germany, and joining UK grime legend Ghetts on tour. His music often plays on BBC Radio 1Xtra, with support from DJ Target, Sian Anderson, and Seani B. In 2021, his single “This Year” was named BBC Track of the Week, showing just how far his music can reach.
From Grime Roots to Traphall Leader
Doller grew up in a musical family. His father, Kush Tafari, is a roots reggae singer, and his uncle Flash is a Dancehall deejay. Inspired by that background, Doller entered the North London Grime scene. He co-founded the crew Cold Blooded and joined the supergroup The Movement, where he earned respect with powerful freestyles.
Over the years, he has expanded his style. He worked with Sir Spyro and Tion Wayne, while also shaping his own label, Go Getters. His Traphall sound—a bold fusion of Trap and Dancehall—has made waves with songs like “Money Song”. Fans of Skillibeng, Bayka, Aidonia, Valiant, and Masicka will feel right at home with his music.
Inside “WHO HYPE? WHO BRUK?”
The new single was produced by Slaybad Musiq and mixed by Bruts, who has worked with Skepta, Wiley, and Alesha Dixon. The beat is dark and heavy, with sharp drum rhythms. Doller raps with a smooth yet commanding flow. Call-and-response hooks drive the track, giving it the feel of a street anthem.
Doller explained the inspiration behind the song:
“I wanted everybody in the world to feel comfortable with their financial status and have an anthem to celebrate that.”
