Pale Blue Eyes are set to return with their third studio album, New Place, releasing on March 7th through their label, Broadcast Recordings. To celebrate, they have shared their new single, “The Dreamer.” This track gives fans a sneak peek of what’s ahead.
A New Era for Pale Blue Eyes
According to Matt, “This album marks the beginning of a new chapter.” He reflects on the transitions that inspired the music. The record explores themes of change and nostalgia, guiding listeners through both endings and fresh starts. Additionally, the discovery of an old slide projector filled with family snapshots significantly influenced the album’s themes and artwork.
The album features guest appearances from Tom Sharkett (W.H. Lung) and Lewis Johnson-Kellett. Both have performed with Pale Blue Eyes live, and their contributions add exciting new layers to the band’s evolving sound.
