If you haven’t heard of London based songwriter and producer Joon’s Second Life then you may have been sleeping under a rock. Known as an upcoming go-to man in the music industry, Joon’s Second Life is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, songwriter, artist and session musician.
Specialising in genres such as soul and jazz, Joon’s second life is involved in multiple projects at once working with upcoming artists in the British music scene, supporting and adding to their releases. With a hefty experience in performing, Joon’s Secodmn Life also gigs across central London as guitarists to upcoming R&B singers within the London scene.
Choosing his artist name ‘Joon’s Second Life’ after a near-fatal intestine loss in 2016, the multi-instrumentalist began following a more refined path of songwriting and producing for established artists and bands. Bringing joy to his playing and adding his unique stamp onto any song he is involved with, Joon’s Second Life has developed his skills and produced several self-releases.
Recently featured on ‘Complicated Needles’ by Korean artist THAMA, Joon’s Second Life produced the latest double single album. THAMA went on to win the Best R&B / Soul Album from 19th Korean Music Awards (2022) with his album ‘Don’t Die Colors’. The two creatives met through Joon’s involvement with the successful Seoul band Soul Delivery who recently collaborated with THAMA on their title track NUGS. Releasing two songs with THAMA and an extra English version, Joon’s second life continues to produce for upcoming established artists.
