BBC 6 Music have today announced a plethora of great bands and artists that will play the 2021 festival from Friday 26th March to Sunday 28th March.

The long weekend will bring fans exclusive performances from some of the best new names out there at the moment as well as classic sets from previous years.

Bicep, Michael Kiwanuka and Laura Manning, who all filmed their sets at London’s iconic Alexandra Palace, will be on air on 6 Music and available on BBC Sounds and BBC iPlayer across the weekend.

All new performances from Shame, Dry Cleaning, Black Country, New Road and more, each filmed at the BBC Radio Theatre in BBC Broadcasting House, will also feature as part of the virtual festival.

These brand new sets will be made available in full on BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds from Friday 26th March, with highlights and select full sets played out on 6 Music between Friday 26th and Sunday 28th March.

If that’s not enough, classic sets from a whole host of outstanding artists over the past few years will be played on BBC Sounds from Monday 22nd March, turning the ‘weekend’ festival into a week long celebration of live music and partying – just what we need to gear us back up for the return to normality.

Classic performances will come courtesy of Depeche Mode, Foals, James Blake, Kelis, Little Simz, Loyle Carner, Róisín Murphy, The Fall, The National, Underworld and Young Fathers, among others.
