SXSW Festival is going online for 2021, and they’re bringing a whole host of the UK’s best up-and-coming bands with them.

Do Nothing, Squid, Baby Queen, Yard Act and Enola Gay are just some of the acts set to represent the nation at SXSW, albeit virtually.

Where the festival would normally be held in Austin, Texas, fans will have to make do with watching the show online, with the bands set to play at the British Music Embassy.

The BME will host 35 of Britain’s best new bands by featuring their performances, which have all been pre-recorded in compliance with COVID, on behalf of SXSW.

See the full line up below:

Bands will be feeling a spot unfortunate to miss out on the real SXSW festival, which has earned its place as one of the top gigs for under-the-radar bands, becoming an independent champion of smaller UK artists.

In recent years, they’ve given the stage to the likes of shame, Sports Team and Her’s, among many others who have gone on to perform at bigger venues around the world.
