Indie-rock lads Hooton Tennis Club are back with their latest single, ‘Katy-Anne Bellis’ that flows along melodically before entering a swirl of vibrant sound effects and guitar pedal mastery.
If you haven’t come across the Liverpool based band before, then imagine the jangly guitar based songs of The Coral mixed with a few splashes of Blur and a hint of Gengahr.
The simple chords and head-bobbing contentment eventually build to a catchy chorus and overdriven crescendo that makes the band’s style difficult to pin down.
