Indie psych-rock group, Splashh, are back with a new upcoming album and their latest track, ‘Rings’
The band have been on and off with releases since their debut album Comfort in 2013, but hope to get back on the bandwagon with the new material.
There’s fuzzy guitars with bags of grit, pulsating drums and hazy vocals reminiscent of the likes of Ty Segall, but this time there is a definite punk undertone. Are the band heading in a new direction?
Guitarist Toto said: ‘The record is loud and in-your-face but also ambient and melodic at the same time. There’s a lot more to offer on the album but ‘Rings’ encompasses the full range of the LP – it shows both sides of the album.’
