One of the greatest European jazz pianists Massimo Colombo has formed an entirely unique tribute album of Burt Bacharach classics titled ‘We All Love Burt Bacharach’. The 13 track album features famous musicians such as Weather Report drummer Peter Erskine, one of the most appreciated bass players in the world Darek Oleszkiewicz and Yellowjackets’ Bob Mintzer to only name a few.
The blend of jazz, swing and funk forms an elegant album that deeply describes the several moods of the well known Bacharach tracks. The album has been conceived and produced by Giampaolo Pasquile and Michele Garruti for PLAY (Milan) and Oracle Records ltd (London). The producers took inspiration from a range of artists such as Chet Baker and Michael Buble, meaning ‘We All Love Burt Bacharach’ escapes the jazz album cliche.
